HOW TO USE CREATINE

Quick start
Take 3–5 g of creatine monohydrate once per day, every day. Consistency matters more than timing. Mix with water or add to a shake. -
Loading (optional)
Want faster saturation? For the first week take 20 g per day split into 4 × 5 g servings for 5–7 days, then drop to 3–5 g daily. Prefer a slow build? 3 g per day for ~28 days also works. -
When to take it
Any time of day is fine. Taking creatine with carbs or carbs + protein can boost muscle creatine retention, so many people pair it with a post‑training meal or shake. -
How to mix it
Either stir into tepid water or a flavoured smoothie drink and drink soon after mixing. Creatine is stable as a dry powder, but in acidic liquids it slowly converts to creatinine if left sitting for days. Freshly mixed is best. -
Hydration & what to expect
Creatine pulls a little water into muscle. A small, normal uptick in body water/weight can occur in the first week, especially if you load. Stay well hydrated. -
Missed a day?
Just take your usual serving when you remember. No need to double up. There’s no need to cycle on and off; long‑term use at recommended intakes is well studied in healthy adults. -
